Usage Tips:

1. Adjust the Height for Comfort:

   • Unlike traditional heat lamps, this heater warms chicks on direct contact. Adjust the heating plate just above their backs.
   • If chicks huddle around the edges of the plate, raise the height slightly by pushing the corner buttons to extend the legs.

2. Raise Large and Bantam Fowl Together:

   • Adjust the height on one side lower for bantams and higher on the other for larger fowl. Chicks will naturally choose their preferred spot.

3. Preheat Before Arrival:

   • Plug in the heater 1 hour before placing chicks underneath to allow it to warm up fully.

4. Use a Nightlight:

   • Provide a nightlight to help chicks find their way back to the heater in the dark.

5. Heater Light Cycles:

   • The heater’s light cycles on and off, regulated by an internal thermostat. In colder locations, it will stay on longer, while in warmer environments, it cycles off more frequently.
